A professional pianist and singer, was born in New York City, raised in Mt Vernon, N.Y. Michelle began playing piano at the age of 3, including the ability to transpose keys by ear. After high school, she went to Ithaca College and the Julliard School of Music, including taking courses in piano pedagogy, music improvation, orchestration and drums while studying under John Mehegan.
While living in Florida for 15 years, before returning to the Hudson Valley, she played piano at Sophie Kays Top of Daytona Restaurant, and did many gigs on the Dixie Queen Riverboat. She also had her own band called Angels South.
Currently, on the weekends Michelle plays piano in a five star restaurant in Montgomery, NY and during the week she does music therapy for residents in an assisted living nursing home in Goshen, NY. She is accepting beginner, adult and children, to teach via Skype, Facetime and in-home lessons. Michelle offers versatile performance in a mix of genres from Big Band to Beethoven, Jazz and Blues.
